Our recipes Crepes et galettes

Wafer Crepes
Crepes and galettes are traditional French dishes that are made from a simple batter of flour, eggs, and milk. Crepes are thin, delicate pancakes that are typically served as a sweet dessert or breakfast dish. They can be filled with a variety of sweet or savory ingredients, such as Nutella, berries, or ham and cheese. Galettes, on the other hand, are thicker and more substantial than crepes and are typically served as a main course. They are made with buckwheat flour and are often filled with savory ingredients such as cheese, eggs, and bacon.

To make crepes, you will need the following ingredients: 1 cup of all-purpose flour, 2 eggs, 1 cup of milk, and a pinch of salt. In a mixing bowl, combine the flour, eggs, and salt. Slowly add the milk while whisking the mixture until it becomes smooth. Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat and ladle a small amount of the batter onto the skillet. Tilt the skillet to spread the batter evenly and cook for about 1-2 minutes on each side, or until the crepe is golden brown. Repeat the process with the remaining batter.

Once your crepes and galettes are cooked, you can fill them with your desired ingredients. For sweet crepes, you can fill them with Nutella, fresh berries, and a sprinkle of powdered sugar. For savory crepes, you can fill them with ham and cheese or sautéed vegetables. For galettes, you can fill them with cheese, eggs, and bacon.

Crepes and galettes are a delicious and versatile dish that can be enjoyed any time of the day. With a little bit of practice, you can easily make these delicious French dishes at home. Enjoy!
