get this book larousse gastronomique isbn 0-600-32390 it has all the famous dishes from a to z their history and the recipes this book is every chefs bible

You are right : the Larousse Gastronomique IS a bible. First edition is very old but the book is renewed/updated periodiccally : did you get an English version of it ?
