Côtes de Saint-Mont

Côtes de Saint-Mont is a vineyard located in the Hautes-Pyrénées department in the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region of France. It is renowned for its superior quality red, white, and rosé wines, produced from local grape varieties including Tannat, Gros Manseng, and Petit Manseng. The Côtes de Saint-Mont vineyard sits on the foothills of the Pyrenees, at an altitude of 300 to 500 meters above sea level. The vines are cultivated on clay-limestone and granitic soils, which impart considerable minerality. The climatic conditions are favorable for viticulture, characterized by warm summers, cold winters, and moderate rainfall. The wines produced in Côtes de Saint-Mont are generally of high quality, with intense aromas of red fruits, berries, and cherries, complemented by good acidity and balanced tannins.
