My Lasagna flavorful and golden
Ingredients for 4 servings
- 14 oz (400 g) ground beef
- 4 tablespoons oil
- 7 oz (200 g) sliced button mushrooms
- 2 red bell peppers cut into thin strips
- 1 bunch basil sliced ( keep some for decoration )
- 6 tablespoons tomato paste
- chili powder (for decoration)
- 1.1 cups (250 ml) vegetable broth
- 12 sheets fresh lasagna noodles (no pre-cooking)
- 0.8 cup (200 ml) liquid crème fraîche
- 3.5 oz (100 g) grated gouda (or gruyère)
- Salt, ground pepper
Step-by-step recipe
- Preheat oven to 390°F (200°C)
- Put the oil in a pan, heat it, add the ground meat, mushrooms, pepper strips, basil and tomato paste.
- Add the vegetable broth and let cook over medium heat for 5 minutes
- Butter an oven-safe dish and alternate layers of 1 lasagna sheet and the meat-ingredient mixture
- Spread the crème fraîche on top and sprinkle with grated gouda (or gruyère)
- Put the lasagnas in the oven on the middle rack and let cook for approximately 30 minutes
** If you bought fresh lasagna noodles, you won't need to prepare them before putting them in the oven. However, if you bought dried ones, prepare them.
Boil water. Cook the lasagna sheets in boiling water. Drain them, rinse under cold water and let them dry on a clean cloth.
