Ingredients for 5 servings
- Low Temperature Oven Roasted Beef For 5 people:
- 1 Beef roast 800 g (28 oz) (meat breed of course)
- 2 tablespoons of grape seed oil
- 20 g (0.7 oz) of Butter
- freshly ground pepper
- a sprig of rosemary
1 Take your meat out one hour before.
2/ Heat a pan with the oil, sear the roast on each side, browning it well.
3/ Preheat your oven to 80°C (175°F).
4/ Put the roast in your ovenproof dish, with a little butter on top and a sprig of rosemary. Give it a turn of the pepper mill.
5/ Place in the middle of the oven for approximately two hours.
If your guests arrive late, and the cooking is finished, you can lower your oven temperature to 60°C (140°F), and remove the roast whenever you wish without it losing its tenderness.
