Chorey-lès-Beaune is characterized by its deep red colour, aromatic complexity, and refinement on the palate. It displays aromas of black cherry, blackcurrant, and forest floor, with notes of vanilla and liquorice in the background. The wine is balanced and structured, with fresh acidity and moderate tannins.
This wine is produced from grapes grown on clay-limestone and sandy soils, which impart mineral and spicy nuances to its aromatic profile. It is aged in oak barrels for approximately 12 to 15 months, which gives it notable complexity and length on the palate.
