- 1 kg (2.2 lb) sweet onions
- 350 g (12.25 oz) brown sugar
- 200 g (7 oz) golden raisins
- 2 dl white wine
- 2 dl white vinegar
- 1 clove of garlic, germ removed and crushed
- 1 dessert spoon of curry
