Ingredients for 4 servings
- 1 l of whole milk
- 90 g of round rice (caroline)
- 125 g of caster sugar
- 1 small pinch of cinnamon
1 In a rather thick and rather high saucepan, bring the milk to boil (with a splash of water, so it doesn't stick) and the cinnamon.
2 When it starts to boil, add the washed and rinsed rice several times, and stir gently with a wooden spoon. It will last about 50 minutes.
3 Approximately. At mid-cooking, add the sugar and stir constantly until the end. The rice pudding should become a fine but bound cream, with the rice perceptible but cooked.
4 Pour into a nice porcelain dish and sprinkle your rice pudding with powdered cinnamon.
lukewarm or cold, it's delicious!
