Ingredients for 4 servings
- 500 g of pumpkin flesh
- 50 g of sugar
- 1 tablespoon of brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons of butter
- 1 teaspoon of cinnamon
- a pinch of salt
1- cut the pumpkin flesh into cubes and steam cook them.
2- put the cooked pumpkin cubes in a saucepan, add both sugars, salt and butter. on medium heat start mixing the ingredients while crushing the pumpkin pieces with a wooden spoon to obtain a kind of puree.
3- continue mixing to prevent sticking until the pumpkin puree caramelizes. add the cinnamon and let cool.
4- form pumpkin balls and stick two walnut halves on the sides of each ball.
