Recipe: Grapefruit Cocktail
Step-by-step directions
1Cut a grapefruit in half by cutting the peel in a zigzag pattern. Both halves will have a serrated edge. Detach the slices by removing the skin separating them. Peel the other grapefruit completely, removing its white skin. Detach the slices by cutting the skin separating them.
2Cut the avocado in half, remove the pit. Cut the flesh into small cubes and immediately mix with the grapefruit slices.
3Mix the curry, fromage blanc, crème fraîche, and lemon to make a sauce. Season lightly with salt.
4Fill the grapefruit shells with avocado cubes, grapefruit slices, shrimp and ham. Top with sauce and garnish with pitted black olives cut into strips and shallots. Optionally add a tomato slice.
Serve very cold.
