Ingredients
- 100 grs of fine sugar
- 50 grs of butter
- 200 mls of fresh cream at 30%
- 550 mls of semi-skimmed milk.
- 75 grs of cornstarch.
In a non-stick saucepan put the sugar, let it melt without touching it because if you stir it risks crystallizing and then it's ruined it won't melt anymore and everything has to be redone.
so let it melt at its own pace, once melted and a nice color add the butter in pieces and stir, then add the cream delicately and be careful of splashes (boiling caramel and cold cream the mixture of the two causes sparks so be careful of burns).
mix everything well, add 400 mls of milk and heat like for a pudding cream. meanwhile dissolve the cornstarch with the remaining 150 mls of milk.
When the milk rises pour the cornstarch milk mixture.
let it bubble for a few minutes to cook the starch and put in a dish.
quick dessert, very good and inexpensive.
good dessert.
