A lovely gingerbread bread for 6 people:
  • 250 g of milk
  • 130 g of acacia honey (or wildflower)
  • 80 g of butter
  • 60 g of caster sugar
  • 30 g of chopped almonds
  • 230 g of flour (either 115 g of white and 115 g of rye mixed)
  • 2 free-range eggs
  • 20 g of baking powder
  • the finely chopped zests of one untreated lemon and one orange
  • 1 teaspoon of a mixture of cinnamon, star anise and nutmeg powder
