Ingredients for 6 servings
- 6 Reinette apples (or equivalent)
- 50 gr of butter
- 20 gr of flour
- 50 gr of sugar
- 50 gr of walnut kernels
- 3 gr of Guérande salt
- a little lemon juice
1 Preheat the oven to 180°(th6)
2 In the blender (mixer) put the walnuts, the butter in small pieces and the sugar mix for 10 seconds then add the flour and salt mix for another 10 seconds and set aside..
3 Peel the apples and hollow them out, citronize to prevent browning then cut them in half lengthwise and place them on a baking sheet then fill each hollow with your mixture of walnut cream letting a little overflow
4 Bake for 45 minutes, basting from time to time
Presentation of your apples with caramel: for example served warm with a bowl of vanilla ice cream on the side
served with a nice cold glass of Jurançon or late harvest wine
