Ingredients

Grand Ma's orange flavoured sponge cake:
  • Quickly made, I am sure that all the family will enjoy them.
Orange sponge cake for a medium size tin :
  • 150g (5.25 oz) of caster sugar: 120g (4.25 oz) + 30g (1.1 oz) for the bottom of the tin
  • 80g (2.8 oz) corn flour/starch: 50g (1.75 oz) + 30g (1.1 oz) for the bottom of the tin
  • 50g (1.75 oz) wheat flour
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar
  • 4 eggs: 4 egg yolk and 4 egg whites
  • 30g (1.1 oz) of sugar lumps
  • 3g of salt
  • 1 orange
  • 4cl (1.4 fl oz) of "Grand Marnier" or "Cointreau" (optional)
