Recipe: Iceberg Drift
Step-by-step directions
1 Prepare the meringue by beating the egg whites and sugar until stiff peaks form using an electric mixer.
2 Top each of the 4 sponge cake circles with a scoop of nougat ice cream.
3 Put the meringue in a piping bag with a tip. Cover the ice cream and sponge cake with the meringue.
4 Freeze for 4 hours, you can even prepare the dessert the day before.
To finish... If you wish, just before serving, drizzle the iceberg drifts with flamed alcohol (Grand Marnier, rum, Cointreau depending on taste
5 Using a kitchen torch, brown the meringue
