Ingredients for 6 servings

  • 3.5 oz (100 g) of semolina
  • 2.1 oz (60 g) of sugar
  • 1.7 cups (40 cl) of milk
  • 3.5 oz (100 g) of dried raisins
  • 12 pistachios roughly crushed (keep some aside for the top of the cake)
  • a few sliced almonds
  • 6 cardamom pods from the spice island
  • 3 tablespoons of ghee (clarified butter)
  • honey for the top of the cake
