Ingredients for 6 servings
- 100 g (3.5 oz) of semolina
- 60 g (2.1 oz) of sugar
- 40 cl (1.7 cups) of milk
- 100 g (3.5 oz) of dried raisins
- 12 pistachios roughly crushed (keep some aside for the top of the cake)
- a few sliced almonds
- 6 cardamom pods from the spice island
- 3 tablespoons of ghee (clarified butter)
- honey for the top of the cake
