  • 4.25 qt (4 liters) seawater or salted water
  • 2 bay leaves and one branch of lemon thyme
  • 0.4 oz (10 g) nori flakes (or organic seaweed powder)
  • a few peppercorns
  • 3.5 oz (100 g) salted farmhouse butter
  • a few grains of fleur de sel placed in a small bowl at the center of the table
