Ingredients
- 500 g fresh drained white cheese
- 2 eggs
- 2 large tablespoons of orange blossom water
- melted butter
- a mixture of flour and water to seal the samosas
- brick sheets
- syrup
- sliced toasted almonds
Prepare the syrup; In a saucepan, put one and a half glasses of water + the juice of one orange and 4 large tablespoons of sugar, and leave on low heat until a slightly thick orange syrup is obtained (double the ingredients if necessary)
Mix the cheese well with the eggs and orange blossom water, spread the brick sheets, cut rectangles, brush with a little melted butter, Place a tablespoon of filling on the lower half of the rectangle and make a cone shape, then fold twice so as to trap the filling in a triangle of dough. Seal the end with the water and flour mixture. Fry in a hot oil bath, drain on absorbent paper, dip in the previously prepared syrup and garnish with sliced almonds.
P.S: you can dip them in honey flavored with orange blossom water instead of syrup.
