Ingredients
- Stuffed Cornish hen with strawberries and curry sauce Serves 2:
- 1 Cornish hen
- 5 strawberries
- 20 cl heavy cream
- thyme
- curry
- salt
- ground pepper
1- Wash, hull the strawberries and cut them in half.
2- Stuff the Cornish hen with thyme and strawberries.
3- Salt and pepper the Cornish hen
4- Cooking: Melt a good piece of butter in a Dutch oven (without browning it!)
5- Brown the Cornish hen on all sides (without browning the butter!)
When done, place it on a plate
6- Lower the heat then add the heavy cream to the Dutch oven and the curry.
7- Mix everything well until the cream is liquid. Return the Cornish hen and cover the Dutch oven
Let simmer for 1 hour
8- Turn the Cornish hen every 15 minutes.
