  • 6 slightly firm apricots, cleaned and cut into quarters
  • 8 small new onions, peeled
  • 5 cl cider vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons cane sugar
  • salt, pepper and turmeric (Madagascar if possible)
  • half-salted butter
  • olive oil
  • splash of white rum (optional)
