1- Preheat your oven to 200°C (th7)
2- Put your chicken to cook in the oven as you normally would for a roasted chicken 10 minutes on one thigh, 10 minutes on the other and finally back in its normal position for 25 minutes, 45 minutes total.
3- Meanwhile prepare the sauce:
In a thick saucepan heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil, add the onions, garlic and tomatoes, salt and pepper and let sweat covered for 5 minutes.
4- In a bowl dilute the almond powder with 2 tablespoons of broth and pour into the onion mixture then do the same with the chocolate, stir well, add the raisins then add the prepared spices, moisten with the rest of the broth and let simmer at low boil, covered for 30 minutes.
Remove the chicken from the oven, put a little water in the pan and cut it into 8 pieces, arrange on a platter, mix the remaining juice strained into the chocolate sauce then pour some over the chicken pieces and the rest in a sauceboat, served with for example plain rice or quinoa moistened with a little olive oil, and most importantly tell me about your guests' reaction.
