- Peel and cut the onions in half, then thinly slice them.
- In a pan heat a little oil and butter, and brown the onions, they should take on a nice golden color, salt and pepper.
- Peel, remove the germ and press the garlic.
- Wash and cut the tomatoes into thin 5 mm slices.
- Heat a little butter in a pan, brown the meat in it, 1 min on one side then 1 min on the other, salt only on one side.
- Remove the meat from the pan and deglaze the meat juices with the lime juice, water, oxo and pressed garlic, cook for a few moments and turn off the heat.
- Cut the sandwich in half or (the baguette in 5 then again in 2).
- Moisten the bottom of the sandwich with the oxo/garlic mixture (be careful not to soak it too much)
- Put on top 2 pieces of meat, some fried onions and 2 pieces of tomato.
- On the top of the sandwich put mayonnaise or (the sauce of your choice).
- Close the sandwich and savor it.
- Enjoy your meal.
