Ingredients for 6 servings
- 1 homemade or organic all-butter puff pastry
- 1 Reinette apple, 3 William pears
- 50 g caster sugar
- 40 g good quality butter
- cinnamon, icing sugar
1- Peel the fruits, remove the cores and cut them into cubes.
2- Heat the sugar over medium heat.
Continue cooking until you obtain a caramel.
3- Then add the butter while mixing.
4- Pour in the fruits, a pinch of cinnamon and cook gently for 5 to 8 minutes to reduce the liquid.
5- Let cool completely.
6- Flour the work surface.
7- Roll out the puff pastry into a large rectangle and place it on your baking sheet on parchment paper.
8- Cut strips on each side.
9- Place the filling in the middle.
10- Take each cut strip and fold it over the filling, alternately to form a braid.
I added some of the remaining caramel sauce on top.
11- Preheat your oven to 200°(th 6+)
12- Bake in the middle of the oven for approximately 35 minutes.
Once cooled, sprinkle with icing sugar.
Bon appétit!!
