Ingredients for 6 servings
- 200 g of homemade or store-bought shortcrust pastry
- 1 dl of organic maple syrup (or liquid honey)
- 30 g of cornstarch
- 5 cl of cold whole milk
- 50 g of good butter
- 100 g of chopped roasted almonds
1/ Arrange your pastry and line the tart pan (tart mold) then refrigerate.
2/ Preheat your oven to 200° (th 6-7).
3/ Heat your maple syrup (liquid honey) to boil with a little water (one tablespoon).
4/ In a bowl mix the cornstarch with cold milk.
5/ Then pour the boiling syrup over it while mixing then incorporate the butter.
6/ line the bottom of the tart with roasted almonds then pour your mixture (mixture) on top.
7/ bake 25 minutes at medium oven.
Wait a quarter of an hour before unmolding your maple syrup tart and serve it for example with good vanilla ice cream and a glass of well-chilled farmhouse cider a pure delight!
