Ingredients for 6 servings
- 1 kg of Jonagold apples.
- 100 g of ground almonds
- 3 drops of bitter almond extract.
- 100 g of brown sugar.
- 1 tsp of cinnamon.
- 5 eggs.
Preheat the oven to 200°C.
Keep the puff pastry in the refrigerator
Meanwhile wash, peel the apples and cut them into quarters and then in half.
Mix them with the brown sugar, cinnamon, almonds and drops of bitter almond extract and 4 beaten eggs as an omelette.
Let everything macerate.
Lower the first pastry and line the mold prick the bottom lightly. Moisten the edges with a brush.
Pour the preparation onto the pastry.
Spread the second pastry and place it on the mold and press on the edges they will seal with the water.
Cut the excess with a good knife. Keep the pieces to make the decoration. Glue them with a brush and water.
Beat the egg and brush the top of the pie.
Bake for 30 to 40 minutes depending on the oven.
Good snack time.
