Ingredients for 4 servings
- 200 g ground barley
- 1 onion
- 50 cl milk
- 1 pinch dried thyme
- 2 garlic cloves
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
1- To prepare the tchicha soup recipe:
2- Peel and chop the onion. Crush the garlic cloves.
3- In the pot, sauté the chopped onion, crushed garlic cloves, dried thyme, with 2 tablespoons of olive oil.
4- Cover the preparation with water, stirring with a wooden spatula.
5- When boiling, add the ground barley, cook for approximately 30 minutes. Season with salt and pepper. Using a wooden spatula, stir the soup to bind it.
6- Pour in the milk. When boiling, remove the pot from heat. Serve the Tchicha soup in bowls.
7- Decorate with a drizzle of olive oil.
