Traditional cupcakes presented here with strawberries and topped with chocolate frosting and strawberry coulis.

Ingredients for 6 servings

  • 3.9 oz (110 g) butter
  • 3.9 oz (110 g) sugar
  • 2 packets vanilla sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 5.25 oz (150 g) flour
  • 1/2 packet baking powder
  • 3 tablespoons milk
  • 5 large strawberries
For the cream:
  • 8.75 oz (250 g) mascarpone
  • 3 tablespoons powdered sugar
  • 1 tablespoon cocoa
For the strawberry coulis:
  • 10 strawberries
  • 3 tablespoons sugar
  • 2 tablespoons water
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
For decoration:
  • It was Easter so I added eggs, but you can add 1/2 strawberry and colored sugar instead.
