Ingredients for 6 servings
- 12 whiting fillets of about 3.5 oz (100 g) each
- 17.75 oz (500 g) cooked Puy lentils*
- 3.5 oz (100 g) small smoked bacon lardons sautéed (or smoked duck breast)
- 2 eggs
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 2 tablespoons strong white mustard
- 1.1 oz (30 g) flour
- 3.5 oz (100 g) breadcrumbs
- 1.75 oz (50 g) half-salt butter
- 1 tablespoon olive oil (for cooking)
- a little sliced garlic (in season)
- salt and freshly ground pepper
