Ingredients for 5 servings
- To make the mille feuille we need:
- puff pastry, pastry cream and icing sugar.
- for the puff pastry: you can buy it from your pastry chef or in a supermarket, but if you know how to make it, that's better.
- 500 g (17.75 oz) puff pastry
- milk 500 g (17.75 oz)
- caster sugar 125 g (4.4 oz)
- cream powder 45 g (1.6 oz) (or cornstarch)
- butter 30 g (1.1 oz)
