Ingredients for 4 servings
- 2.2 lb (1 kg) of asparagus
- 7 oz (200 g) of bacon
- 1 pie crust
- 2 eggs
- crème fraîche
- grated cheese
Step-by-step recipe
Peel the asparagus and cook in a pressure cooker.
Brown the bacon in a pan.
Drain and place on the crust.
Whisk the eggs with the crème fraîche.
Coat the crust and sprinkle grated gruyere on top.
Bake for approximately 35 minutes
Chef Patrick's Comment
Good recipe. You can also roast the asparagus a little in olive oil before placing them on your quiche and add a little nutmeg to your mixture.
