- 5 Pink Lady or Royal Gala apples: 3 peeled, cored, squeezed with lemon juice, cut in half and sliced into thin strips and 2 peeled, cored and cut into large dice
- 1 pinch of cinnamon
- 1 tablespoon of caster sugar
- a few drops of untreated lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon of brown sugar
