Another popular recipe is spiny lobster à l'armoricaine, which is a traditional preparation from the Brittany region. To prepare this recipe, the spiny lobster must first be steamed, then cut into pieces. Then, crème fraîche is melted together with onion, garlic, white wine and tomatoes, and the pieces of spiny lobster are added. The preparation is simmered for a few minutes, then served with rice.
