Ingredients
- 1 Orange
- 125 g Sugar
- 25 cl Water
- 3 g Mixed spice
Bring 25cl of water to a boil with the sugar and let boil for 2 minutes. Cut the orange into thin slices and let them poach in the syrup for 10 minutes at a gentle simmer. Allow to cool in the syrup.
Turn on the oven grill. Spread the drained orange slices on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Let them brown under the grill without caramelizing, approximately 8 minutes, turning halfway through cooking. Allow to cool and harden.
You can serve the chips with either savory dishes (duck breast, pork chop, etc...) or sweet dishes (chocolate fondant, green anise ice cream, etc...).
