Ingredients
- 2 slices of sliced sandwich bread
- Butter
- 1 slice of ham
- 2 cheese slices.
Butter only one side of the 2 slices of bread, flip one over and place a cheese slice on the unbuttered side.
Then place 1 slice of ham, install 1 other cheese slice in the middle of the ham slice. Fold the edges of the ham slice so that the slice does not stick out from the bread.
Place the second slice of bread, buttered side on top.
Heat a pan without fat for about 30 seconds over high heat.
Place the croque monsieur in it, lower the heat slightly and brown for 1 minute on each side. Lower the heat to minimum and cook for 3 minutes on each side, making sure it does not burn and that the cheese is well melted.
