- Mix eggs, butter, vinegar, sesame seeds, orange blossom water, baking powder, and a glass of water.
- Add the flour and mix to obtain a fairly soft dough. Knead the dough well. If the dough is hard, add a little water, cover and let rest.
- Cut pieces of dough, roll out with a roller and cut rectangles of 15 cm x 10 cm with a pastry wheel.
- Make 4 cuts 1 cm from both ends, take with your hands and roll into twists, sprinkle a tray or work surface with flour and arrange the cakes on it, continue with all the dough.
- Toast the sesame seeds in a pan.
- In a saucepan, make a double boiler to heat the honey (very important!), add 1 tablespoon of orange blossom water and a glass of water on top, keep warm.
- Heat the frying oil and dip the cakes, let them brown on both sides.
- Drain and immediately dip in the warm honey.
- Put in a strainer to drain the honey
- Sprinkle with roasted sesame seeds.
