Ingredients
- Madeleine batter with grapefruit zests for 25 pieces:
- 3 eggs
- 125 g of caster sugar
- 150 g of flour
- 1 packet of baking powder
- 1 grapefruit
- 130 g of butter
1- Make the zests being careful not to leave any white skin, slice finely into julienne (thin sticks).
2- In a bowl whiten the eggs and sugar then add the flour mixed with the baking powder and the warm melted butter and the zests.
3- Fill half of your mold cavities (tefal or flexipan) and place in the fridge for ¼ hour.
4- Turn on your oven to 220°(th7), bake your madeleines for 5 minutes at this temperature then lower to 190°(th 6) for 5 more minutes. Remove from mold immediately after taking out of the oven.
These madeleines with grapefruit zests are enjoyed with all kinds of creams but the best of the best is to dip them in a good chocolate fondue.
