Ingredients for 6 servings
- 2 red peppers.
- 2 green peppers.
- 1 kg of firm potatoes.
- 1 sage branch.
- 1 garlic clove.
- 40 cl of fresh cream.
- salt, pepper.
- 1 liter of whole milk.
1- wash the peppers, then plunge them for 1 minute in a
pot of boiling water. drain them, cool them under running water,
then peel them and deseed them. cut them into wide strips.
2- preheat the oven to 150°(TH.5). peel the potatoes,
slice them into thin rounds. finely chop the sage.
3- rub a gratin dish with the garlic clove, then arrange in it
a layer of potato rounds. coat with half
of the fresh cream, then add green pepper strips.
sprinkle with chopped sage, salt and pepper.
4- repeat the operation with, this time, the red pepper strips.
finish with a layer of potato rounds,
then pour with milk. bake for 2 hours.
