Ingredients
- 200 g of butter (or margarine)
- 250 g of brown sugar
- 250 g of flour
- 200 g of whole hazelnuts
- 2 eggs
- 100 g of grated chocolate
- 1 tablespoon of cinnamon
- 1 pinch of ground cloves
- 1 teaspoon of baking powder
- 200 g of dark chocolate coating
- Beat the butter until fluffy
- Gradually add the sugar, eggs, flour, hazelnuts, cinnamon, ground cloves. Mix well
- Mix the grated chocolate with the baking powder and incorporate into the butter mixture
- Knead everything thoroughly
- Preheat the oven to 180°C
- Smooth the dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, approximately the thickness of a finger
- Let rest for 15 minutes
- Place in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes
- Remove and let cool for approximately 15 minutes
- Cut 35 identical rectangles
- Temper the coating and dip the surface of the rectangles
- Let dry on a rack
** I used a dark chocolate coating, Tanzania, rare origin, with 75% cocoa
** If you don't like hazelnuts you can replace them with raisins, but then call them sultan's rectangles ...
