Recipe: Wednesday Cake
Ingredients for 8 servings
- 8.75 oz (250 g) of softened butter
- 8.75 oz (250 g) of sugar
- 4 whole eggs + 3 yolks
- 8.5 oz (240 g) of flour
- 1/2 packet of baking powder
Step-by-step directions
1 preheat the oven to 355°F (180°c) (th.6).
2/ sift the flour with the baking powder.
3/ in a bowl, knead the butter until creamy, add the sugar and mix well.
4/ incorporate the 4 whole eggs and 3 egg yolks, the flour and baking powder, mix well.
5/ butter a loaf pan, pour the batter into it.
6/ bake for approximately 30 minutes.

A classic recipe, to check if it's cooked insert a needle and it should come out hot and dry.
