Ingredients for 6 servings
- 400 g ground beef
- 1 red bell pepper
- 1 green bell pepper
- 1 large onion
- 1 large and 1 small can of red beans
- 2 tsp ground cumin
- 2 cans of peeled tomatoes
- Chili pepper (optional)
1 In a large pot, add oil and sauté the onion cut into dice and the bell peppers cut into dice.
2 Add the meat and cook for 5 good minutes over medium heat.
3 Drain the bean cans, rinse them and set aside.
4 Add the peeled tomatoes, DO NOT DRAIN THEM, the beans and the cumin.
5 Cook for 20 minutes over low heat, stirring from time to time.
Serve with grated cheese and sour cream (optional).
