Ingredients
- 1 ripe mango
- 4 to 8 star anise
- 50 cl (2.1 cups) of water
- 100 g (3.5 oz) of sugar or brown sugar
- 1 small bunch of mint
Wash and peel the mango
Cut it into small cubes
Make a syrup with the sugar, star anise, and water and let it simmer for a few minutes,
Add the mango cubes and let simmer for another 2 minutes, no longer
Let cool in the syrup
Drain the mango cubes
Arrange in spoons
Decorate with star anise cut in half if they are large
Decorate with a sprig or leaf of mint and enjoy well chilled
