Step-by-step directions
1 preheat your oven to 180°(th6)
1 pass the brocciu through a food mill
in a large bowl
3/then in a second bowl crack your eggs, add the caster sugar and the zest and beat well then incorporate this mixture to the passed brocciu and mix well
3/butter a mold line it or use a non-stick mold, pour the batter and bake in the oven for 45 minutes.
4/when it is cold unmold it and sprinkle with powdered sugar
you can also add to the recipe a small splash of aqua vita
aqua vita = brandy...
if you find candied citron jam to serve with this it will be the best
