Citrus Infusion with Green Tea light and airy
Ingredients for 4 servings
- 1 green tea bag
- 2 grapefruits
- 3 oranges
- 2 tbsp brown sugar
- A few redcurrants or raspberries
- Vanilla pod
- Ginger
Step-by-step recipe
1 Steep the tea in 2.1 cups (50 cl) of simmering water and let cool
2 Zest one orange and peel all citrus fruits to the flesh
3 Remove the segments and collect the juice to add to the green tea
4 Grate some ginger and add it to the tea
5 Arrange all the fruits alternating in glasses
6 Pour the cold tea over the fruits
7 Decorate with a vanilla pod and sprigs of mint as well as a bunch of redcurrants or a few raspberries on top
8 Chill for at least 2 hours
For a more fun effect, I frosted the glass for a few minutes in the freezer
A very refreshing infusion in summer, but which can be enjoyed in winter since it's citrus season
