Jurançon sec is a white wine from the Jurançon region, situated in the Pyrénées Atlantiques in southwestern France. It is produced from Gros Manseng, Petit Manseng, and Camaralet grapes, which impart a pale yellow colour and aromas of dried fruits, honey, and exotic fruits.
Gros Manseng is the primary grape variety used in Jurançon sec production, lending the wine its power and aromatic richness. Petit Manseng contributes a welcome acidity that balances the dried fruit and honey notes. Camaralet, a rarer variety, adds a layer of finesse and elegance to the blend.
