Ingredients for 4 servings
- 4 apples
- 10 cl heavy cream
- 80 g sugar
- 1 tablespoon water
- 25 g salted butter
- 1 generous pinch of fleur de sel
In an oven dish at 180° for 30 minutes / in a perforated hermetic bag in the microwave at 600 W for 10 minutes.
Peel and core the apples and arrange in an oven-safe dish.
In a saucepan, warm the heavy cream.
In a second saucepan, pour the sugar with a tablespoon of water, do not stir. Let it turn golden then remove from heat, add the heavy cream, salted butter then the pinch of fleur de sel.
Return to heat while stirring constantly to dissolve the caramel pieces well.
Pour this caramel into the center of each apple and coat the apples.
Serve hot.
