Baghrir (Moroccan Honeycomb Pancakes) delicate and indulgent
Ingredients for 3 servings
- 4.4 oz (125 g) of very good fine semolina
- 0.6 cup (15 cl) of whole milk
- butter
- 1 egg yolk
- 0.5 oz (15 g) of baker's yeast
- 0.5 cup (12 cl) of lukewarm mineral water
- 1/2 teaspoon of fine salt
- acacia honey
Step-by-step recipe
1 Mix everything together with a whisk or mixer for 2 or 3 minutes
2/ Then pour into a container, cover with a clean cloth and let rest for 1 hour in a temperate place.
3/ Then heat a crepe pan with a touch of butter and proceed as for crepes without flipping them
2 By cooking them on only one side you will see small holes appear, then enjoy them with butter and honey while still hot.
