Ingredients for 4 servings
- 1 cooked beet
- 4 marinated herrings
- 2 cooked potatoes (25 minutes in boiling water)
- 2 cooked carrots
- 2 hard-boiled eggs (10 minutes in boiling water)
- 5 pickles
- mayonnaise
1 Grate the beet, potatoes, carrots, eggs and pickles.
2 Take a flat plate, on which we will serve our salad at table.
3 Spread the herrings (4) lengthwise on the plate.
4 For the potatoes, make a small pile in the middle of the plate, then flatten the top to make it like a cake.
5 On top, add the carrot and eggs, and flatten.
6 Add a thin layer of mayonnaise, and flatten.
7 Do the same with the beet and pickles, and flatten.
8 Add the potato on top and flatten.
9 Add a thin layer of mayonnaise, and flatten again.
10 Until vegetables are exhausted, but finish with the beet.
11 Add a thin layer of mayonnaise, and flatten.
12 Decorate with the remaining egg white, four herrings and parsley.
