Sylvaner

Despite its popularity in Alsace, Sylvaner has experienced declining demand over the years due to competition from newer varieties such as Riesling. This has led to a reduction in Sylvaner vineyard acreage in the region.
However, a movement is underway to rediscover and appreciate wines produced from Sylvaner grapes, with growing interest in natural and organic wines. Producers making high-quality Sylvaner wines are increasingly recognized and valued.
