Ingredients
For one apple turnover:
- 1 puff pastry
- 100 g ground almonds
- 50 g sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 apple
1- Preheat the oven to 220°C
2- In a mixing bowl, combine the ground almonds, sugar and eggs
3- Roll out the puff pastry on a pie pan previously lined with parchment paper
4- Spread this almond-sugar-egg mixture on half of the puff pastry (the other half will be used to close the turnover)
5- Peel the apple and cut it into quarters. Place the quarters on the previous mixture
6- Close the turnover by covering it with the second part of the puff pastry
7- Bake for approximately 20 minutes
Best enjoyed lukewarm
