Ingredients for 2 servings
- 250 g (8.75 oz) of spaghetti
- 2 ripe tomatoes
- 2 to 3 cloves of garlic
- 1 bunch of basil
- salt, 5 peppercorns
- 3 tablespoons of olive oil
- 10 cl (0.4 cup) of pasta cooking water
An easy dish to prepare for a quick evening meal.
1 Bring a saucepan to a boil and plunge your tomatoes for 1 minute. Remove and pass under cold water and remove the skin.
2 In a mortar or salad bowl, cut your tomatoes into cubes, peel the garlic and cut it into small pieces, put your basil leaves, cut them into fine slices. Pound for a few minutes you will smell all these good smells of basil, garlic, tomatoes. Then add the oil, salt, pepper.
3 Put a saucepan of salted water to boil, plunge your pasta with al dente cooking (indicated on your package). Before draining your pasta, take a little bit of cooking water (10cl (0.4 cup)) that you add to your preparation (garlic, tomatoes, basil). Once the pasta is drained, put it in the salad bowl with the sauce. Stir well. Serve by grating fresh parmesan. It's ready!!!
Good fragrant recipe. 2 things don't forget to remove the germ from the garlic on one hand, on the other hand don't add the basil until the end it will then be more fragrant, personally I leave my garnish in my pan and when my pasta is cooked I drain it partially then add it to my pan I do 2 turns and then sprinkle with a chiffonade of basil + parmesan.
